Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on 8 August 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her while she was in her teens. Her acting career began at the age of four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. She worked as an additional to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her acting career. The first film she acted in, "Friday", was released in 1995 as she was 13 years old. In 1997, she first was recognized for her performance in Eve's Bayou as Cisely Batiste an unruly teenage girl. She received her debut N.A.A.C.P. nomination for this film. Image Award Nomination. Good played small roles in film and TV for a couple of years before shifting into roles that were more mature at the dawn of the 2000s. She played Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. From 1998 until 2001, she was a character on Nina on Nickelodeon's TV program Cousin Skeeter. In addition, she was cast in small roles for the movies House Party down to the last Minute and 3 Strikes. The actress played Vanessa Scott in the sitcom My Wife and Kids in 2003. She was in D.E.B.S (2004), a comedy action movie. The film earned her the nomination of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards in 2005. Then she appeared in movies such as You Got Served the Cookout as well as Venom One Missed, call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. She continued to be active both on T.V. In addition to films her roles included Mya as well as Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man starring an impressive cast, and Dysfunctional Friend starring a small group.
