Lisa Edelstein is an American actress, best known for her work on House. Fox medical show, House. As a child of strict Jewish upbringing the actress was able to move from Wayne to New York City when she aged 18 and began attending Tisch School of the Arts. The school soon became a fixture in New York's club scene and started getting headlines. The press also noticed her. The singer used her musical training and fame to create and star in a new musical, Positive Me. In the following year she was recruited by MTV to host Awake On The Wild Side. When the show was over, she started appearing in films and television productions at first in small roles, and slowly established her acting career.
