Tawny Kitaen

Julie Ellen "Tawny", Kitaen, was an American model, actress and media persona. She lived from May 7, 1961, until May 7, 2021. She started her career as a TV actor appearing in the television shows Malibu (1983), California Girls (1985). She was also a part of the comedy The Perils of Gwendoline and Bachelor Party (both 1984) along with the horror film Witchboard (1986). Kitaen received a lot of attention for her performances in several rock music videos of heavy metal, such as Ratt's "Back for More" (1984) and Whitesnake's "Still of the Night", "Is This Love" and "Here I Go Again" (all 1987).In the 2000s, Kitaen transitioned into appearing in reality-TV shows, including The Surreal Life (2006) and Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew (2008) which, the latter of which documented Kitaen's addiction issues. Julie Kitaen was born in San Diego, California, in the year 1961. She is the third oldest of three children to Linda Kitaen (nee Taylor), who was a housewife and beauty contest participant once and Terry Kitaen. Kitaen works for a neon sign company. Kitaen's mother was of Irish as well as Scottish descent, was married to Terry Kitaen (an employee of a neon sign manufacturer). Her father was Russian Jewish. Kitaen was educated Jewish. [4][5] She began using the nickname "Tawny" when she was 12 on her own initiative. She had dyslexia issues as a child and dropped out of Mission Bay High School. Seventeen years old, she was when she went to see Penny Frampton perform in Balboa Stadium. [9]
